Concept Overview

1. Arrival and Photography:

- As guests arrive, they are greeted by a professional photographer.

- The photographers take stylish, high-quality photos of the guests, either individually or as a group, capturing their excitement and anticipation for the dining experience.

2. Photo Viewing and Selection:

- While the guests wait to be seated, they are invited to a chic lounge area where they can view their photos.

- Guests have the option to either share the picture on a social media platform or just take it with them.

3. Dining Experience:

- Once the guests are seated, the dining experience begins. The restaurant offers a meticulously designed menu, possibly with themed or seasonal dishes that complement the aesthetic and ambience of the establishment.

- The decor of the dining area is photogenic, encouraging guests to take and share more photos during their meal: there are a lot of artworks around, on most of the walls.

My Role

My role in this project was comprehensive and included several key responsibilities:

1. Site Visits and Accurate Measurements:

   • I regularly visited the site to ensure accurate measurements.

   • Made necessary modifications to the floor and furniture plans while keeping the existing floor and ceiling intact.

   • Ensured that all dimensions and spatial arrangements were precisely recorded to facilitate the design process.

2. Meticulous Design and Layout Planning:

   • Worked meticulously on the layout of the project, ensuring an optimal flow and functionality.

   • Developed a design concept that complemented the existing floor and ceiling, enhancing the overall aesthetic without altering the structural elements.

   • Created detailed plans that included the placement of furniture, fixtures, and accessories to maximize the space's potential.

3. Presentation and Concept Development:

   • Created comprehensive presentations that included mood images, material selections, and color palettes.

   • These presentations helped visualize the design concept and facilitated decision-making.

   • Ensured that the design concept was aligned with the client's vision and the space's functional requirements.

4. 3D Renderings and Visualization:

   • Developed detailed 3D renderings after the initial approval of the design concept.

   • Showcased the agreed-upon design for both the interior and exterior spaces through realistic 3D visualizations.

   • Utilized 3D renderings to illustrate how the design elements would look in the actual space, providing a clear and tangible representation for the client.

   • Made necessary modifications based on feedback from our meetings and discussions about the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space.

5. Bill of Quantities:

   • Prepared a detailed bill of quantities that included every material and piece of furniture required for the project.

   • Specified sources, provided price estimates, and included comprehensive details for each item.

6. Ongoing Site Follow-up:

   • Continuously visited the site to oversee progress and ensure the design's implementation.

   • Selected the remaining accessories to complete the project, ensuring every detail was executed as planned.

Throughout the project, my goal was to blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, ensuring that The Gallery is not just a place to admire art but a vibrant community hub where people can connect and enjoy a diverse range of artistic experiences.
