The problem:
A lot of parents especially newly parents do not have the enough knowledge when having a child.
The goal:
To provide users with all the important information needed when having a child; like what to feed, what tests need to be done, the process they are at.
My research was collected and conducted using google search and the assumptions shown as a high percentage of people not having the knowledge of dealing with babies. A lot of people that I notice have been struggling with how dealing with their babies or what to do when pregnant, especially when getting pregnant at a very young age. So I heard many parents not knowing how to educate their child which made do most of the information related to the child growth and development.
Problem statement:
Jess is a teacher who needs an app that provides her with enough information about kids because she is always busy to search and don’t know what she should do.
Problem statement:
Hana is a Graphic Designer who needs to get more knowledge about having a baby because she is still young and doesn’t know what to expect.
My goal is to make the experience for the user as easy as possible.

Homepage of the app, introducing it, with everyday’s news. The user can create an account and check the process everytime.
The prototype will help the design and the user better understand the flow of the website/ app and how the circulation of it goes.
1- Information: add more reliable and important information
2- Tools: add tools that could help the user find his needs
3- Personalization: have a personalized profile with adding everything related to the child, like journal and pictures
Before Usability Study
After Usability Study
The goal is to have more clarity in content and to include more information that could guide the user throughout the app. So from an app to a website, we made it more interactive and added more information, as well as adding the play sign so that the user knows he can click on it to watch the video.
In high-fidelity prototype, user would follow the flow throughout the app along with different designs and clear procedure that they have to go through.
My goal is to have a responsive website that could work on different platforms. I thought about having the same theme, only changed with the sizes and a bit in the layout.
So used the concept on phones, tablets, and desktops.
1- The use of colors with contrast is something very important for the user’s accessibility. Changing the text color and fixing the style is important for the user. To have everything clear for him.
2- Adding videos can be helpful for users who struggle reading or need to get more information.
3- Having all the contact information can provide users with more help and satisfaction.
Impact:
The impact is focusing on the user’s needs, especially newly parents that could benefit from having more information about their newborn child or even their older kids
What I learned:
I learned that I have to believe in the process of building the app or website. I think that I won’t be satisfied before completing the process and having more information or pictures included.
1- I would love to have more participants using the app when they really need it, to see their interactions clearly.
2- I would love to add more accessibility for the user, and add more languages that the user could use.
3- I will add more contact information, or even a voice next to every paragraph .
